A telemetry facility was considered right from the beginning,
as an ever increasing number of applications require remote
transmission. This has been due to the coverage improvements
in the mobile telephone network and the reliability achieved
by the last GSM modem generation.
• The telemetry integration allows
a rugged and cost effective remote communication system.
• A user can communicate at any moment, in real
time, to supervise logger status and instant data from
every sensor output on the computer screen.
• It is possible to receive data from your station
in real time, wherever you are, just by sending an SMS
message to the station from your mobile telephone.
• It is very ease to download data from each station
to your computer remotely in the same way as an in-situ
download. The process is quick, simple and efficient,
even in poor GSM signal conditions.
• The system is capable of operating with any telephone
company and any modem. |

• EOL2020 is known
for its VERSATILITY. It is compatible
with all sensor technologies; analogue, inductive, optical,
differential outputs, digital coding, etc.
• In order to resolve problems that may occur because
of the various types of sensors frequently used in wind
measurement, with differing features, prices and precision,
in addition to the incompatibility between many loggers
and sensors, a simple, universal system has been adopted.
The user only has to enter the data using the keypad interface
for the type and model of the sensor
to be connected.
• EOL2020 is compatible with all telephone systems;
PSTN, GSM CDMA, etc.
• The software is compatible with Windows 95,
98, NT, 2000 and XP
• Apart from the temperature input, three meteorological
or general purpose analogue inputs are also available.

The whole user interface has been specially designed to
create a tool which is easy to use. The software
is extremely simple and intuitive.
• All the sensor readings can be monitored on the
logger display. Configuration can be also displayed or
modified, such as site identification or time and date.
• It is possible to configure the data-logger using
its own keyboard or a computer.
• Immediate installation and sensor
connection. No special connector or DIN rail terminal
is necessary.
• Data can be retrieved manually (by memory substitution)
or by telephone.
• Time and date can be modified in situ or remotely
by a telephone connection. |

| • You can use EOL 2020 to enter
data from the meteorological masts of the wind
farm into the SCADA system running on the computer
installed in the Central Control Room of the wind farm.
To do this, just check a box to configure the software
to work as a TCP/IP server of real time
data coming from each EOL 2020 logger, connected to the
wind farm computer. This connection could be any physical
channel, like optic fibre. You can connect to wind farm
meteorological masts, in real time, using the Internet,
separately from SCADA, from any location in the world. |

Performance Test version |

• To provide instrumentation
for the Performance Test of a wind mill,
a specific EOL 2020 version is available. There is a particular
input for the wind turbine power output in addition to
the typical meteorological data.
• To adapt the generic wind logger to the one called
EOL 2020 Power Test it is only necessary to update firmware
in a very simple operation. |
